"Mariel was so awesome to work with on my wedding day. She answered all my emails on time. We first met at my hair and makeup trial. She listened to what my vision was and made it come to life. The day of my wedding she arrived right on time. She is organized which I love and had a schedule for me and all my bridesmaids so we were all done on time. The day of the wedding she listened to the changes I wanted to make from the trial and my hair and makeup came out perfect! Myself and the the bridesmaids looked amazing in all my pictures and I can't thank Mariel and her team enough. I highly recommend her for your wedding day if you want to feel absolutely beautiful on your wedding day. She is very highly skilled in what she does and I would love to work again with her in the future!"
"Mariel and her stylist Corinne are both so talented and really sweet and accommodating. I had two trials with Mariel where she got everything right from my descriptions, then both Mariel and Corinne took on the task of doing hair and makeup for myself and nine other members of my bridal party. We had a great time with them and they stayed perfectly on schedule throughout the whole day while making each girl look great. Both my mother and mother-in-law were very nervous about having their hair and makeup done since neither one tends to dress up often - but Mariel and Corinne made them feel at ease and they were both very pleased with their looks. I highly recommend Mariel and will definitely book her again for any future events."
"Mariel is a gifted hair and makeup artist (seriously an artist using a 3-D canvas) but where she really stands out is her ability to connect with people and make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, which is INCREDIBLY important because she will be with you immediately before the event! We had a last minute snag with our venue and everyone was kind of tense when Marielle and her assistant came in--they immediately helped us feel calmer and, of courses, prettier! I really appreciated how they worked with everyone to figure out what kind of hair and makeup they wanted, especially me---I don't usually wear makeup or do my hair elaborately so I had no idea what I wanted, but Mariel helped guide me expertly and my makeup and hair were *perfect*. I danced so much that I was definitely sweating, but my makeup never even smudged, and my hair stayed in perfectly. also just one thing I have to note that demonstrates how far Mariel will go to ensure you have the perfect look: i had a piece of food stuck in my teeth that I couldn't get out, and she went in there with a disposable makeup brush and got it out for me--she will literally do anything for you. "Having Mariel beautify me on my wedding day was the best decision I could have made! She is extremely talented and used her high quality products to make me feel beautiful and still was able to give me a natural look with make up and the soft, elegant hair style that I wanted. Besides her talent, her extremely organized and calm manner was what gave me the most confidence in her work. From our first conversation about how to make the morning work she was on top of knowing exactly what she would be doing and how she would do it down to the minute. I am usually an organized person but felt pretty scatter-brained as my wedding day got closer. Mariel's easy going personality and encouragement that everything would work out fine (and it did!) really kept me at ease on a day that could easily be so hectic. Mariel was also very accommodating when I requested a trial. I am not in her area and she was sure to meet me in a convenient central location to provide me with the trial I wanted.
